Burgh Brides Feature

In this week’s blog post, we wanted to share a wedding we were featured in on Burgh Brides! Christine + Nathan’s wedding was a perfect mix of earthy garden tones and rustic vibes. They’re a fun couple and we had a fantastic time performing for them and their amazing guests.

The wedding had a simple and fresh garden feel. It was classic and romantic with the juxtaposition of old and new. I really just wanted to be surrounded by simple and soft beauty…delicate accents while allowing candles and flowers to do most of the talking. Nathan and I live in a renovated factory in Bloomfield, so we love the old-meets-new vibe and that is what our church and venue provided.

Burgh Brides, About The Wedding

We decided to go with a full Catholic mass for our ceremony with a family friend who is a priest as the officiant. It was long (an hour and a half) but during the ceremony, before we said our vows, Nathan and I sat on opposite sides of the altar and just got to look at each other and let it sink in that it was finally happening. It was so special to have that time of excitement and reflection to build before finally saying “I do” and getting to hold hands and sit side-by-side. Every part of so amazing, but I really can remember those feelings and moments as truly special.
